Felipe Napoleon Morales Quintanilla, known artistically as Napo, was born on September 9 in Managua, Nicaragua. From a young age, he enjoyed singing, dancing, and acting, delighting everyone with his talent. His inspiration was to be an artist and travel the world spreading joy through his music.
At the age of 7, he moved to Washington, DC. By the age of 20, he was part of the musical group DESAFÍO, in which he opened shows for well-known artists such as Pitbull, Ivy Queen, Chris and Angele, Los Guanabanas, Fuego, and Bachata Heightz.
At 23, he decided to embark on his solo career. His first solo song was a collaboration with Dominican artist Rey Chesta, who was part of the Chosen Few label. The song was titled “Gal Wine.”
On March 23, 2023, he released his first official solo song titled “Night Crawler,” in collaboration with the Cuban producer known as Cuba El Monstruo de la Melodía, thanks to the support of his friend Walter Lorenzana. This track began to be played on radio stations in countries such as the United States, El Salvador, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, and it also stood out digitally in many places within the Latin music scene.
His musical career has flourished in countries like Nicaragua, the United States, and Mexico, fulfilling his goal of being an artist and traveling the world with his vision. Napo is a firm believer in Jah and is deeply grateful to Thomas ‘Cuba’ Sánchez and, especially, to his family for their unwavering support throughout his journey.
